The onslaught of built-in WiFi connectivity at CES 2012 continues today as Samsung has announced three more camcorder models that will feature built-in WiFi: the VF20, VF25, and F80.
Samsung's VF20 and VF25 both bring full HD 1080/30p video along with WiFi connectivity, to be used for transfer, backup, and with Samsung's new AllShare Play online cloud storage solution and Microsoft SkyDrive.
The WiFi options will allow users to integrate their camcorders with Android and iOS devices to manage, view, and push content from their camcorders to the web, with in-camera options for immediately posting video content on social media services.
The VF20 and VF25 will both be 42x optical zoom camcorders, offer mic input terminals, AMOLED screens, as well as control knobs on top for manual control. The camcorders will feature a variable speed control setting that will allow users to slow down video while it's being recorded, so that a normal speed video can be slowed down on the fly when pivotal action occurs.
Like the most of the 2012 lineup for Samsung, the VF25 and VF20 will offer a number of user interface enhancements, including more playback options (including loading your own background music), the ability to flag clips as "my clips," and in-camera timelapse panning options.
The VF20 and VF25 will ship for an MSRP of $599 and $699, respectively. The Samsung F80 will offer a more pedestrian 720/30p, but will ring up at a much more affordable $199 price point.
