Sony Enters the Standard Def Flash Memory Camcorder Market with the DCR-SX40 DCR-SX41 and DCR-SX60

January 7, 2009 – Sony has entered the standard definition flash memory category of the camcorder market, with today\'s CES announcement of the DCR-SX40, DCR-SX41, and DCR-SX60. All three models are standard definition and record primarily to embedded solid state memory. These three camcorders will join Sony\'s new HDR-CX100, a high definition model that also records to solid state memory.
